About a year ago I voiced a story a couple of times in the morning about what Ogden police called one of their most bizarre police reports. A woman called them to complain that another woman had put a spell or a curse on her, and she was all mad because she had to hunt down a witch doctor to remove the curse. The story was originally in the Standard-Examiner. I didn't get very far on it because I was eventually assigned to other things. But it was posted on ksl.com. A couple days ago I got an email from someone wondering where the woman found that witch doctor -- was it in Utah or did she have to go out of state? Now, the only thing I can think of is that this person must have googled "Witch Doctor Utah" or something and my story popped up. I have not emailed back yet because I'm a little concerned about what this person is in the market for. Not to judge, but you know, I have to be careful. Speaking of stories that come back to haunt you, I haven't received email for a while now from hopeful contestants trying to get on Deal or No Deal. I used to get a ton of those. But Randall Jeppesen says he still gets tons of email (mostly from Florida) from people responding to an RV story he did a long time ago. Good luck with that buddy.
