According to statistics recently released by the University of California Agriculture and Natural Resources, only about one fourth of adults in the United States eat the recommended five or more servings of fruits and vegetables each day. Sweets, desserts, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages account for nearly 25 percent of all calories consumed by Americans. Healthy fruits and vegetables make up only 10 percent of caloric intake in the average U.S. diet.

Of course these statistics are a concern and should be addressed. David Parker and his management team are hoping to do just that through their company, Nuriche. It's designed to promote wholesome living and provide education and opportunities to people interested in quality whole food and nutrition.

Nuriche has a proprietary InstaFresh process that dries whole foods in seconds at less than 100 degrees, thus retaining the food's nutritional efficacy. From this process, Nuriche has formulated its Live and ReVive products. Live is a whole food powder that when added to six ounces of water creates a robust berry-tasting drink with the nutritional benefits of five servings of fruits or vegetables. ReVive is a nutritional, crash-free energy product. David says Revive is unique because it is all natural and organic, free of caffeine and artificial sweeteners, and provides up to nine hours of sustained energy. It's a healthy energy boost.

David tells me Nuriche is uniquely structured, having built its charitable interest, My Firm Foundation, into the corporate infrastructure, which helps the company and its customers serve others. The Foundation has three initiatives: providing health, wellness and provident whole living education; creating micro business opportunities in underdeveloped countries; and supporting charities that care for children and families.

Despite the Provo company's young age (it was launched at the end of 2008), it has been well received. David anticipates Nuriche will grow rapidly as more people discover the benefits of crash-free energy, healthy weight loss and vitality its products provide.
