LONDON, Jan 8, 2007 (UPI via COMTEX) -- A musical based on the songs and lives of the band Take That is currently being written and will debut in London's West End.

The show will feature characters based on Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Howard Donald and Jason Orange, but it is not known if Robbie Williams will be involved, Britain's Daily Mail reported.

Although the band will not directly participate, they have agreed to be involved in the casting of their respective parts, the newspaper said.

A source told the Daily Mail: "The script is being written at this moment and there is a real buzz around it.

"It is a perfect show for the West End and because the band have so many fans of all ages it is expected to sell out months -- if not years -- in advance."
