"The Littlest Hitler," a debut collection of short stories by Ryan Boudinot of Seattle, was among the Best Books of the Year selected by Publishers Weekly, the definitive magazine of the book business.
The magazine saluted the writer: "Sharp satire and scorching wit run through Boudinot's uproarious debut collection." "The Littlest Hitler" (Counterpoint, 214 pages, $22) takes its title from a story about a youngster who wears a Hitler costume for Halloween, with disastrous consequences.
Boudinot also recently signed a contract with Counterpoint for his first novel, entitled "Sperm and Egg," according to Publishers Weekly. It is scheduled to be published in April 2008.
