Have you heard about how the State has reduced the New Century Scholarship? There is a great article in Sunday's Tribune. My daughter is one of the students affected. She has worked so hard for 2 years - her Junior and Senior years in high, making many sacrifices along the way. She did all that was required (which was rigorous) and now - 2 weeks before she is to start UVU, we find out that the funding has been cut from 75% of her tuition being paid to only 40% Outrageous! Shouldn't the state have to stick to what they promised 2 years ago? There are hundreds of Utah Students in the same boat! I would love to hear you talk about this injustice on your show!
