LOS ANGELES, Dec 19, 2006 (UPI via COMTEX) -- The Fox television network has renewed the popular talk show "Tyra" in a two-year deal, TVWeek.com reported.
Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution announced the decision Monday to renew the show, which is hosted by former supermodel Tyra Banks.
"We are obviously thrilled with 'Tyra,' which is quite evident by our giving the series a two-season vote of confidence," said Jack Abernethy, CEO of Fox Television Stations. "We believe this show has quickly become a franchise and will continue to grow into a true powerhouse for years to come."
TVWeek reports that "Tyra" has shown substantial growth in numerous demographics.
