CHATSWORTH, Calif. (AFX) - Washington Post Co. said Friday it agreed to sell its government publishing and events unit to privately held 1105 Media Inc.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
The unit, Post Newsweek Tech Media, includes Government Computer News, Washington Technology, Government Leader, Defense Systems, online products and the FOSE trade show.
1105 Media plans to rename the unit 1105 Government Information Group.
