Florida police are searching for a persistent convenience store robber.
The man attempted to hold up a Deerfield Beach Mini-Market shortly after 8 p.m. Monday.
As he was demanding money from the clerk one of the store's owners armed himself and stepped into view.
The robber fled as soon as he heard the store owner chamber a round into his weapon.
He didn't give up, though.
Just minutes later he entered a nearby 7-11, where he met no resistance and was able to escape with cash from the register.
