LONDON, Nov 9, 2006 (UPI via COMTEX) -- Celebrities such as model Kate Moss and actor Brad Pitt are to be the focus of a photo exhibit at London's National Portrait Gallery.
The "Face of Fashion" exhibit is aimed at following a new artistic trend oriented toward fashion photography and will be launched at the National Portrait Gallery effective next year, said the Telegraph.
Along with Moss and Pitt, the exhibit will feature photos of actresses Angelina Jolie and Sharon Stone, along with pop singers Madonna and Justin Timberlake.
"Fashion surrounds us. It may sometimes irritate us but it has an influence which is undeniable," said gallery director Sandy Nairne. "This is the first time there has been a concentration on it as portraiture."
The Telegraph said that the exhibit will include the previously published works of famed fashion photographers Marcus Piggott, Mert Alas, Paolo Roversi, Corinne Day, Steven Klein and Mario Sorrenti.
