Springtime fishing for wipers and walleye has been hot at Willard Bay. So we joined Utah DWR biologists and project leaders for a day on the water. To our surprise, the walleye fishing was slow, but we couldn't keep the wipers off our lines! That's a good problem to have, because wipers are really fun to catch. Wipers fight hard are are really good to eat. In this episode, we show our many battles with wipers that just won't give up, show you the lures that worked best, and how we found that casting to the dike was more productive that trolling on this day.
