SALT LAKE CITY — Restaurants come and go, but some are so iconic they stay with us forever.
The state of Utah has had many great restaurants that have for whatever reason or another shut down. But the memories — the tastes, the smells, the environment — all hold a special place somewhere in our hearts.
Maybe it's where your family went every summer or it's where you went on your first date. Maybe it was just the place to be on certain nights with friends or family. Or it could have simply been delicious food you knew you'd love every time — a consistent staple you craved.
Whatever the reason, these restaurants filled our lives with joy. So this March, we decided to create a bracket around some of your favorite restaurants that are no longer around. Could we maybe convince the winning restaurant to come back? Probably not, but I'm sure it will bring back some fond memories.
