The Rooster Ride: Pedal-powered adventure through Sevier Valley
Aug. 16
Summer should be easy — like riding a bike. And cyclists of all levels are invited to hop in the saddle for the annual Rooster Ride, a non-competitive road bike event that celebrates the beauty and backroads of Sevier Valley.
Riders can choose from three route options — short, medium and long — each offering scenic views of rolling farmland, towering peaks and quiet rural communities. With distances ranging from 37 to 100 miles, the Rooster Ride is designed for casual riders and endurance cyclists alike.

The event begins and ends in Richfield, with a well-marked course and plenty of rest stops along the way. Volunteers hand out snacks, water and cheers, while local businesses provide support and hospitality.
Riders often return year after year, citing the friendly vibe, smooth roads and picturesque views as key draws. And, of course, because it's not a race; it's a ride.
Diesels in the Mountains: Where torque meets terrain
Sept. 12-13
Truck fans won't want to miss Diesels in the Mountains, a two day diesel truck show and drag race event at the Sevier County Fairgrounds. The event attracts diesel lovers from around the West who come to compete, show off custom builds and enjoy a full-throttle weekend of speed and spectacle.
With drag racing, a show-and-shine competition, Dyno event and sled pull, vendors and food trucks, the event blends raw power with a festive, family-friendly atmosphere.
Diesel fans will find everything from stock workhorses to heavily modified race trucks on display. With its combination of speed, mechanics and community fun, Diesels in the Mountains offers a thrilling experience for gearheads and curious spectators alike.
Rocky Mountain Jamboree: Utah's premier ATV and UTV gathering
Sept. 15–19
Richfield becomes the off-roading capital of Utah each September when more than 500 ATV and UTV riders gather for the Rocky Mountain Jamboree — a weeklong celebration of trail-riding, community and camaraderie.
Hosted by Sevier County volunteers and trail guides, the Jamboree features over 70 guided rides through Fishlake National Forest on the Paiute Trail System. Riders from across the country come to explore the area's high-alpine terrain, historic mining towns and wildlife-filled meadows.
Richfield, after all, is a rider's paradise. Every trail is a little different — some are scenic, some are technical — but they're all unforgettable.
In addition to the rides, the event includes prize drawings each morning, a chance to light up your machine and be in a parade down main street Monday night and a closing dinner on Friday night with a chance to win a UTV. Participants camp or stay in Richfield lodging and often bring the whole family along for the fun.
The event has grown steadily since its start in 1998, drawing enthusiasts who return for both the trail experience and the small-town hospitality.
