WEST VALLEY CITY — A motorcyclist was critically injured in a crash Wednesday evening on Mountain View Corridor in West Valley City, police said.
The crash happened about 4 p.m. near 2700 South. The motorcyclist and the car's driver were both traveling north along Mountain View Corridor when the two collided for an unknown reason, West Valley police said.
Police also said they do not believe intoxication was a factor in the accident and that the driver of the passenger vehicle is cooperating with law enforcement.
Police encourage drivers not to travel on the northbound Mountain View Corridor between 2700 South and 3500 South.
