CEDAR CITY — One of the four men who faced criminal charges related to the Jan. 17 shooting death of 17-year-old KayLee Dutton in Iron County has been sentenced to three years' probation.

Aldric S. Felipe, 21, was sentenced by Judge Meb Anderson on Tuesday afternoon during an in-person hearing in Cedar City's 5th District Court.

As previously reported, Felipe and his three roommates were arrested at their townhome residence in Cedar City on Jan. 18, following an extensive manhunt involving multiple law enforcement agencies.

Of the four roommates arrested in connection with the incident, Felipe faced the least serious charges. On April 15, Felipe pleaded guilty to one count of obstruction of justice, a second-degree felony, and one count of possession or transfer of a firearm by a restricted person, a third-degree felony.
