COBRAVILLE — What's the strangest thing you've ever seen in your home? For example, maybe you've had a bat swoop around your family room. Or perhaps a clown suddenly walked through your front door while you were eating breakfast.
For me, it was when my dad came into the kitchen carrying a live pheasant. My mom let out a shriek and asked what on earth he was doing. My dad said he'd found the bird behind our neighbor's shed and thought we could keep it as a pet or eat it for dinner.
It's safe to say that we didn't do either of those things with the pheasant, and it's probably still living happily in the fields of Alpine.
While that pheasant was a bit of a startling encounter for us, it had nothing on the cobra in this video.
Yikes. That's an aggressive cobra. It slithered right up to the hammock and tried to bite the woman. Or maybe it was just trying to get in the hammock for a rest and was ultimately just as frightened as the woman.
Either way, it was a truly scary situation. Having a cobra lunge at you has to be one of the worst sights on earth.
