THE WALL — Those who are familiar with college basketball have certainly seen a student section doing its best to distract opposing free-throw shooters with a variety of signs and noises.

The tradition made its first appearance in the NBA on Wednesday in the Clippers-Suns game thanks to the new "Wall" fan section at the recently-opened Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. The section comprises 51 consecutive rows with no suites and is exclusively reserved for Clippers fans.

Kevin Durant missed two free throws in a row in the fourth quarter facing The Wall and — as Jazz fans are very familiar with — the crowd was rewarded with free Chick-fil-A.

The Suns went on to win the game 116-113 in overtime to spoil the Clippers' debut in the Dome, but the impact of The Wall was felt.

Durant himself said he "loved" The Wall and called it "incredible" and "insane," adding that he was staring at it the whole game.
