ST. GEORGE — A dead tree on city property that was set to be replaced this fall was removed by an unknown party. City officials are not pleased.
Now, city officials are asking the public for any information related to the alleged act of vandalism at the Sunbrook Golf Course.
The incident occurred at night on Sept. 10 after maintenance crews at the golf course left for the day, according to a social media post from the St. George Police Department.
When they returned the following morning, they discovered the tree — near Hole 8 on the Pointe — had been cut down.
