NEW YORK (AFX) - Newspaper publisher The New York Times Co. on Friday said The Times Center, an auditorium and reception hall at its headquarters in Times Square, will open to the public in September 2007.
The facility includes a 378-seat auditorium with a stage that measures 40 feet by 10 feet and reception hall that can accommodate up to 700 people.
The company said it plans to use the facility for the cultural events it sponsors and will rent the space to private and nonprofit groups at various rates.
