HEAVEN — We've all wondered what will happen when we die. Will we arrive at the pearly white gates? Get a set of wings? Be greeted by friends and family?

Former Miss New York Taryn Delanie Smith has offered her take on what will be the first heavenly encounter post-death with a video series where she plays heaven's receptionist, Denise.

Her character, Denise, sits in a white bathrobe and towel turban complete with a razor taped to her cheek to represent her heavenly attire and essential receptionist headset. Her duties are the same as any regular receptionist except that Denise works among the dead.

Her videos consist of funny pop culture references, handling vengeful ghosts and heartwarming welcomes to her followers' deceased relatives. She puts a playful twist on how most people envision heaven.

Although the videos are of course fictional, it's comforting to imagine the sweet welcoming of a heavenly receptionist to bring you to the other side. And it's even more comforting to imagine that same sweet greeting for lost loved ones.
