You don't become one of the top vehicle manufacturers in the world by luck. You do it by giving customers the cars they want, at a great value. Volkswagen has done this, and customers can't get enough. Need a compact SUV that's efficient, practical and luxurious? Volkswagen has that. What an electric SUV? Volkwsagen has that too. has your back. Want something that can fit the whole family for long road trips? Yep, they have that, too.

For 2024, the popular models at Volkswagen SouthTowne are getting even better. From the family-hauling Atlas to the adventurous and efficient Taos to the new, much-hyped electric vehicle, the ID. Buzz, VW's 2024 models are receiving significant improvements to their styling, powertrains, interiors and more.

Volkswagen SouthTowne has 2024 models coming in now. Here are some of the newly refreshed, and released, VW models you'll want to be sure to check out — especially with their current offer of $0 down and $0 payments for 90 days until the end of August.

Atlas

Since coming on the scene in the 2018 model year, Cars Sales Statistics show that the Atlas has been one of Volkswagen's hottest sellers. For 2024, Volkswagen has taken its tried-and-true recipe and improved upon it in meaningful and attractive ways. First, the exterior looks more modern and elegant. Next, the interior has been dressed up with more premium materials, less hard plastic and an all-new infotainment system. Lastly, the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine's power has been boosted and has replaced the VR6 as the Atlas's only engine option.

There's just as much room for your family as before, but it's all wrapped in a nicer, more luxurious and attractive package. Pricing remains close to the same as the 2023 model, which means you're getting a much-improved car for about the same money.

For Utah adventurers, Volkswagen says they will now offer a "Peak Edition" trim that will come with all-terrain tires, body cladding, and some other off-road-focused styling cues.

Atlas Cross Sport

Take the family-hauling Atlas, give it a sleek, sloping roofline, remove the third row, and boom! You've got yourself the Atlas Cross Sport. It's the sporty, more stylish Atlas, content with carting around a few friends and being the "cool" uncle or aunt to your nieces and nephews.

All the updates and changes to the Atlas apply here to the Atlas Cross Sport. Because the Atlas Cross Sport has only two rows, the backseat and cargo area are especially spacious, with plenty of room for people, gear and your weekly haul from Living Spaces.

Regarding the Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport, Pablo Di Si, president and CEO of Volkswagen of America said, "The Atlas was the first modern Volkswagen designed, engineered and produced specifically for American buyers, and since its debut, it has become a major player in the U.S. market … The refreshed Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport continue to build on that success, with an elegant new interior and a sophisticated turbocharged engine that improves both performance and the driving experience."

Taos

Making its debut as a 2022 model year, the sub-compact Taos has proven itself to be an exceptional value. It's much more spacious than expected, is very comfortable, looks stylish inside and out, gets excellent fuel economy and offers a long list of in-demand features all for a very competitive price.

If you've been looking for a new, efficient, sub-compact SUV that won't break the bank, the Taos is definitely worth your consideration. Pro-tip: get it in all-wheel drive for those Utah winters. Opting for all-wheel drive VW says will also get you their vaunted seven-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission for sportier driving.

Tiguan

While nothing has been officially revealed about the 2024 Tiguan, there are plenty of spy shots and rumors that suggest the award-winning Tiguan will undergo the knife quite extensively for the 2024 model year.

Most notably, gone will be the upright, boxy dimensions. Instead, customers can expect a more svelte exterior styling. Car Scoops says buyers should also expect a new infotainment system, screens, an improved ride, a more modern interior and the possibility of a plug-in hybrid powertrain.

Slotting in between the sub-compact Taos and the mid-size Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport, the Tiguan is the perfect size for most buyers who want maximum versatility. The Tiguan's always been a solid entry in the compact SUV segment, and the 2024 model year is sure to be the best it's been.

ID. Buzz

Few cars have been as, well, buzzed about in recent years as the new ID. Buzz from VW. A strong callback to the beloved Microbuses of decades gone by, this new EV is poised to be an extremely hot seller.

Voolkswagen says the ID. Buzz will have three rows of ample seating space, rear and all-wheel-drive configurations and around 260 miles of driving range. VW also reports the van will be able to charge its battery from 10% to 80% in 30 minutes, which will be especially important while hauling children around.
