THE RESCUE — Few things are cuter than videos highlighting interspecies friendships between animals, in my humble opinion.

One baby goat named Lily, who was taken in by an animal rescue after her mother abandoned her, shows that when there's no one else of your kind around, it's OK. You can find buddies who share common interests — like a love of cuddling, naps and running around the house.

First, Lily tried to get into the rabbit crew.

"It started with our rabbit Lawrence, she would like come up to him, she would try to head butt him and jump on him, and he wasn't really that interested," Lily's owner says in the video shared by the Dodo.

She didn't let that stop her from trying to find a place to belong.

"She started moving on to the cats, trying to befriend the cats."

An older cat, Bean, "took her under his wing" and would curl up on the couch and nap with her. She began following him around and learned how to live like a cat from him, according to the video.

"Growing up, she was just like, 'I'm gonna be a cat now. This animal likes me. Bean's my friend, so I'm just going to do whatever he wants to,'" the owner said.

Even after Lily began living outside, she continued curling up in cat-like nap poses and found companionship with the barn cats — apparently living her best goat-cat life.
