THE BRINEY BLUE — I wrote an article years ago that included a negative reference to the movie "Joe Dirt." And it seemed like every reader in the world was a rabid "Joe Dirt" fan, because I got a flood of angry emails telling me that I'm an idiot and should never have messed with such an awesome film.
Or maybe all those messages just came from fake accounts created by David Spade. Who knows?
The only reason I bring this up is that I was reminded of an awful movie, "Master of Disguise," when I saw this video of a cuttlefish effortlessly blending into its surroundings:
But I've learned my lesson, people. I won't make any snide remarks about the movie because I don't want to incur the wrath of Dana Carvey and his fans.
So, I'll just say that this cuttlefish is a master of disguise, and it's fascinating to watch it mirror the various colors it encounters as it swims in the crystal waters of Indonesia.
