WELCOME TO AMERICA — Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla continually walked by two people who, to be frank, are quite more well-known than he is.
Prince William and Princess Kate were sitting courtside at TD Garden on Wednesday as part of their first trip to the United State in nearly a decade.
The duo's appearance attracted much attention. There was increased security and fans had some fun with the unique situation by starting chants of USA.
While there was some boos, fans mostly greeted the Royal Highnesses warmly on Wednesday, and Prince William was even spotted on camera complimenting Boston star Jayson Tatum.
So what did the Celtics think?
Mazzulla spent the game walking past the Prince and Princess' seats that were near the Celtics bench. So he must have had some interactions with them, or at least paid some attention to their presence, right?

When asked about playing in front of the "Royal Family," Mazzulla responded with his own query.
"Jesus, Mary and Joseph?" he said. "I'm only familiar with one royal family. I don't know too much about them."
It is the holiday season, after all. And Mazzulla wasn't alone in his apathy. His players had about the same amount of enthusiasm for the Prince and Princess of Wales to be courtside.

"Um, it was just a regular game to me," guard Jaylen Brown said.
It's been 249 years since the Boston Tea Party. Apparently to the Celtics, that's not long enough.
