THE POND —There's nothing better than chilling in a pool on these hot summer days. Actually, scrap that. There is something that could probably make it better. Imagine how nice it would be to relax in a pool while also getting a fish pedicure.
I would love to claim this innovative concept as my own. But as this video shows, it was invented by a bear (as are most of the best things in life).
You have to wonder what the koi thought about this whole thing. They were just cruising around the pond like they do every other day, when suddenly an enormous beast plopped down into their home.
My guess is that they were initially terrified. Then the fish slowly realized that this was definitely not one of the fearsome grizzlies of Katmai National Park. Instead, it was just a sweaty black bear that was only interested in cooling down for a bit.
At that point, it was probably exciting for the koi to have a visitor. Life in a tiny pond has to be mind-numbingly boring, after all.
