There's no place like home, but when you own an Ember RV, home can be literally anywhere – even some of the most beautiful and remote places on earth. So if you're ready to take home on the road and experience the most rugged, spectacular, and exciting spots in the Beehive State, be sure you've got these RV hot spots on your list.

Panguitch

Surrounded by natural wonders on every side – literally – Panguitch is one of those places you could stay indefinitely and never get bored. That's because Panguitch and the region surrounding it provide recreation and scenery of all kinds.

Spend a leisurely day fishing on the Panguitch Lake or make a day trip out of attractions like Bryce Canyon National Park, Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, Cedar Breaks National Monument and Zion National Park.

Situated in Utah's Southwest desert, the region is perfect for hikers, rafters, equestrians, sightseers – or humans of all kinds. And with RV parks readily available – like Panguitch KOA Holiday, for example –you can hook up and create a base with all the comforts of home.

Cottonwood Loop

If you're a sucker for those alpine vistas, there's no sense leaving the Wasatch Front to your rear-view mirror. In fact, you can plunge into Utah's most spectacular mountain range headfirst in a modern but rugged RV.

Wasatch Mountain State Park offers 23,000 acres of natural, preserved landscape, along with year-round recreation including camping, hiking, off-roading, mountain biking, horseback riding and more. Check out the Pine Creek Campground in Cottonwood Loop for RV hookups in a picturesque location.

Hurricane

Despite its name, you're likely to find beautiful weather in Hurricane. And that's a good thing when you consider the outdoor adventures available just a stone's throw from the small town. Hook up at Sand Hollow RV Resort and take advantage of the proximity to Sand Hollow Reservoir and Sand Hollow State Park.

Of course, Hurricane is also a home base for many travelers to Zion National Park, so you'll want to bring your hiking boots for the park's most notable trails, like Angel's Landing, Emerald Pools and The Narrows.

Bear Lake

While fair-weather travelers might be heading south, there's no reason not to steer your RV northward. In fact, Bear Lake State Park is the perfect destination for RV enthusiasts because of its numerous recreational opportunities, plentiful RV hookup sites and close proximity to the Wasatch Front.

Whether you're fishing, boating or just relaxing on the shoreline, you're sure to find recreation and relaxation in Bear Lake. Check out Utah State Parks to reserve an RV site within the state park, or opt for any number of RV parks located close to the lake.

Dinosaur National Monument

Paleontologists and regular Joes alike will find plenty to see and do in and around Dinosaur National Monument near Jensen. The monument is a blast from the past – literally – with an exhibit hall that houses more than 1,500 dinosaur fossils.

Dinos aside, the Monument is located on the northern edge of the Colorado Plateau, which makes for spectacular scenery and countless opportunities for outdoor recreation. Hook up your RV at KOA Dinosaur Monument or any number of nearby campgrounds for an exciting – and educational – experience.

Canyonlands/Moab

Canyonlands National Park is one of Utah's greatest offerings to the world. Featuring (you guessed it) magnificent canyons, along with mesas, pinnacles and countless other formations, Canyonlands is chock full of spectacular hikes, incredible mountain bike trails and skies full of stars.

And when you RV through the park, you can enjoy the unobstructed night sky without roughing it at all. Check out Utah.com for a list of RV options in and around Canyonlands National Park.
