BIG WATER, Kane County — A man died Tuesday in a crash on U.S. 89 in Kane County, troopers said.
About 6 p.m., a Honda Fit was driving west near Big Water when it overturned multiple times and came to rest in the center of the road, the Utah Highway Patrol said in a statement.
The man, 51, who was from Kanab, was ejected and died of his injuries. His name was not immediately released.
Troopers said the man was not wearing a seat belt at the time. Impairment is not suspected, but excessive speed is being investigated as a contributor to the crash, troopers said.
No other vehicles were involved.
