ST. GEORGE — A 14-year-old boy is accused of taking his sister's car overnight Thursday and crashing it into a home in St. George while drunk.
Just before 1 a.m., a resident called 911 and said someone had crashed a car into his home, setting it and the house on fire, said St. George police officer Tiffany Mitchell.
First responders arrived and found the car fully engulfed in flames with the home suffering fire damage, she said.
The extent of the damage to the home isn't yet known but residents were displaced, according to Mitchell.
The car was likely totaled in the incident.
No one was injured.
The 14-year-old was cited for DUI, curfew violation, driving without a license, and a traffic violation, Mitchell said. He was then released to his parents.
