If you're looking for a chill way to spend your weekend—without sweltering temps—you'll enjoy Snowbasin's outdoor Sunday concert. On August 1 from 12-5:30 p.m. you can hang out at the Blues, Brews & BBQ concert featuring Andy Frasco and Kris Lager for free! There will be award-winning food and cold drinks on the lawn outside Earl's Lodge.
So bring your lawn chairs, blankets and even umbrellas for a fun afternoon of music and food. For more information on this concert, visit the Snowbasin website.
If you can't make it to the concert on Sunday, you can still beat the heat and enjoy a range of activities outdoors at Snowbasin another time. Here are a few more.
Hiking and biking
Every Saturday and Sunday, the resort is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. to a number of outdoor activities.
For the hikers, Snowbasin offers more than 26 miles of gondola-accessed trails that start near the Needles Lodge. You can even learn a thing or two while you're enjoying the gorgeous scenery. Snowbasin offers a wildflower identification sheet that can help you understand more about the beauty of the blooms on the trails you're trekking.
If you'd rather coast down the trails on a bike, mountain bikers have access to equal miles of single-track trails that wind through aspen groves and glades of pine. For the more challenging trails, there's gondola bike access to make your time count, so you spend less time getting up the mountain and more time enjoying the downhill switchbacks. To get a full view of the trails, check out the Snowbasin trail map.

Mini golf
If you're looking for something less strenuous and more competitive, try the Wildflower Mini-Golf, a challenging 18-hole mini-golf course with a beautiful backdrop of the Wasatch Mountains.
For pricing and public golfing dates, visit the Snowbasin website.
A unique brunch experience
Snowbasin's mountain-top brunch buffet takes place at the Needles Lodge every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. until October 3. The culinary team uses top local ingredients obtained through community-centered agriculture partnerships to craft its decadent buffet.
In fact, the buffet menu changes every week to ensure the freshest ingredients are used and the chef's creative inspirations are fulfilled. That means you could go every Sunday and get a unique experience each time.

Presentation is also key at the lodge — the dazzling dishes and desserts are showcased across a grand buffet in the center of the room, many being made right before your eyes by the resort's culinary experts. For breakfast-goers craving mimosas, a full bar with alcohol service is available starting at 10:30 a.m.
Because of the brunch's popularity, reservations are highly recommended and can be made here. Indoor lodge or outdoor patio seating is available.
