SALT LAKE CITY — Police have released the name of a man shot and killed at a Salt Lake house party over the weekend.

Malik Saeed, 19, of Salt Lake City, was shot late Friday at a house at 2393 E. 1700 South, where there was a large party happening, according to police. Saeed was shot during altercation at the front door with another man, police said. He later died at a local hospital.

Many of the witnesses and people attending the party ran from the house before officers arrived. No arrests had been made as of Tuesday.
