Have You Seen This? Broken air conditioner now has its own jazz band

URBAN NATURE — We've heard the sentiment many times that there is music all around us. The breeze rustling the branches of a nearby tree, a stream babbling its own language, or the soft percussion on leaves crackling under your feet. It's all beautiful in its own way.

But sometimes, sounds that don't seem to be adding beautiful music to nature just need the right ear to help us hear the alluring tones the sound is making.

I just so happen to have the perfect example thanks to YouTuber Sam Ross.

Sam took this old video of a beat-up air conditioner that seemed to be on its last legs as it kind of held a beat. Sam heard the beauty coming out of that old AC unit and created an entire band around it to make some pretty great jazz music.

That piano is infectious and the rattle of the air conditioner is the perfect companion to those drums. There is a hint of funk there with a heavy helping of jazz and one commenter pointed out that this could be a new form of music, "This is proof that Jazz and funk can be fused together. Call it Junk."

I think I will, commenter. I think that's exactly what I'll call this specific track of music: junk.
