THE FRONT DOOR — It's that time of year when package deliveries are on the rise.
You have to worry about sending packages on time and taking packages off your porch before they are stolen (sadly). And then there are delivery drivers who have their own problems.
You may think that the greatest worry might be dogs, and indeed no one wants to be chased or bitten by a dog when you're just trying to do your job. However, there are ways around the dog problem (just ask this UPS Facebook account about drivers and the dogs on their regular routes ... but I digress).
But what about the other hazards?
In this video, a poor Amazon delivery driver discovers a hazard that he 100% did not expect.
After trudging down a particularly long driveway, the driver makes his delivery and starts the way back to his vehicle. It is then that he hears the noise — a cacophony of chickens that are probably yelling, "Get off my property!"
The flock is behind him, wielding their beaks in a threatening manner and displaying evil intent in their eyes. The driver is having none of this nonsense and instead of an easy jog away from the short-legged birds, he takes off like there really is a giant dog barreling up behind him.
It's absolutely the thing that most of us would do, but it's also absolutely hilarious to see it play out on video.
Good luck out there this season, delivery drivers. We're rooting for you.
