RED FLEET STATE PARK — Authorities searched for a missing swimmer on Wednesday night, Utah State Parks officials confirmed.

The search was underway as of 9 p.m. for a 33-year-old man who was last seen leaving a boat on the water for a swim and had not resurfaced.

The Utah Department of Public Safety dive team assisted in the search.

The man was not wearing a life jacket and crews searched in water that was 25-53 feet deep.

Further details about the search weren't immediately available.
