This is Fred Ball for Zions Bank, speaking on business.
Technology continues to advance at a rapid pace. This has affected everything from the way businesses are conducted to how you keep in contact with people.
Shawn Milne is well aware of technological advances and the effect they have on home electronics. He spent two years working for an electronics company to learn the trade and in June 1998 launched Ivy League Image & Sound. He wanted to structure a company around the principle of being the one-stop shop for all his customers' electronics needs.
He started by offering his services to established businesses that already had the clientele and workload. Slowly but surely the fledgling company built up its own customer base and later absorbed three businesses that it had once been an independent contractor for. Ivy League Image & Sound eventually became CLICK Audio Video and now serves the entire Wasatch region.
CLICK Audio Video offers audio/video, communications, security, surveillance, home theatre and control products and services. Shawn likes to say that he and his employees make technology work for their customers. Since employees install and service such a wide range of products, technicians have the ability to streamline different systems and lessen the learning curve clients might go through with their new equipment.
The company's most popular service is installing cabling in homes, offices and stores. This makes new and forthcoming technology accessible to clients. Technicians are trained to carefully consider service requests in order to provide clients with options they can choose from.
At CLICK Audio Video, Shawn says they pride themselves on using ingenuity to solve clients' problems. Whether it be installing a one-of-a-kind application or wiring difficult locations, the company continues to seek exciting new challenges.
For Zions Bank, I'm Fred Ball. I'm speaking on business.
