Bonneville Whitefish are only found in Bear Lake. Fishing for Bonneville Whitefish is only possible in late November through mid-December when they spawn in shallow, rocky shorelines. Bonneville Whitefish are similar to Rocky Mountain Whitefish but Bonneville's have a larger mouth and can weigh over 2 pounds. They are a tasty fish to eat with a mild flavor.
