ST. GEORGE — A woman and her husband were killed on Thursday morning in a car crash, police confirmed.
The couple were eastbound on Indian Hills Drive about 10:15 a.m. when their Honda truck drove through the light at Hilton Drive and struck a column in front of the Moto Zoo, 359 W. Hilton Drive, St. George police confirmed.
The woman, who was in her early 90s, died on scene. Her husband, who was in his late 80s, was transported to Dixie Regional Medical Center via ambulance with life-threatening injuries and died while medics performed life-saving measures.
The incident is under investigation to find the cause of the crash, St. George police said.
The couple’s names were not released pending notification to family members.
