THE KITCHEN — Rock, paper, scissors is a great game. One that has caused people to get angry, smile, get aggravated and win or lose everything from the front seat of a car, the last popsicle in the freezer and even the throne of a great kingdom. I can't actually verify that last one.

While this is a classic game with pretty straight forward rules, I have to say this father-daughter duo has found a great way to update this age-old past time.

Really they're just playing the game like usual, but if you lose, you have to dunk your face in a pile of flour and then just move on to the next round. While I think the new spin is clever and fun, it's the pure joy these two are getting out of it that makes this video amazing.

These two are spending quality time together and having the time of their lives while doing it. It's adorable, funny and inspiring. I write inspiring because I'm often too lazy to get off the couch to play superheroes with my kid, let alone put all this together and then be willing to do the cleanup. I need to be a better dad.

For those who don't speak Portuguese the conversation is really just saying, "rock, paper, scissors" over and over and then once in awhile "you lose," or "you win." Then who I assume is the grandpa walks in and basically starts asking what kind of game this is. Also a little concerned about the mess, but not enough to stop the fun.

Watch the video, have a laugh, maybe get the courage to try this out yourself and then go have some fun with those that you love. Have an amazing weekend and thanks to this dad and daughter reminding us to enjoy the little things.
