VEYO, Washington County — Authorities identified a woman in her 30s who was killed Tuesday in a head-on crash on state Route 18 just south of Dammeron Valley.
The woman was northbound about 1:40 p.m. when it appears she drifted across the center lane and clipped the front of a southbound semitruck, Utah Highway Patrol trooper Joe Pastor said.
She was identified Wednesday as 30-year-old Alyssa S. Jenkins, of Santa Clara, Utah, UHP said.

The collision caused Jenkins's car to spin off the right shoulder of the northbound lane. The semitruck left skid marks for about 70 yards before stopping on the northbound side of the road, facing south, Pastor said.
The semitruck’s trailer then tipped. The driver, a man in his 40s, was transported to an area hospital in fair condition, Pastor said.
Jenkins, who was the only occupant of the car, died on scene.
