WEST VALLEY CITY — Police are asking the public’s help in identifying a hit-and-run driver.

A 14-year-old girl was seriously injured on Monday after she was hit by a car on the crosswalk at 3800 S. Constitution Blvd., West Valley City police said Thursday.

The incident occurred about 4:30 p.m. and police say the driver of the car didn’t stop.

The car was white and driven by a white man, police said. Multiple vehicles were at the intersection during the incident and police are asking anyone who saw anything to contact them at 801-840-4000 and reference case No. 20I200057.
