SANDY — A juvenile was stabbed at a park across from Jordan High School on Thursday, according to police.

The incident happened about 1:30 p.m. at Dewey Bluth Park, 170 E. Sego Lily Drive. A group of juveniles got into a fight and one juvenile was stabbed, said Sandy Police Sgt. Jason Nielsen.

Friends of the victim walked him over to Jordan High where emergency crews were called. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Nielsen said. It was not immediately known if the victim is a student at the school.

No arrests had been made as of Thursday afternoon.
