THE BACKYARD — It’s fall, y’all.
It’s time to stay warm with cozy sweaters, snuggly blankets, and hot beverages while catching up on your reading or binge-watching TV.
But it turns out there’s a new way to stay warm in the fall — juggling lawn chairs that are on fire. It’s a method that neither this author nor this news outlet are recommending in any way, but it is a technique that makes for a great 12-second video.
In the video, you’ll see a man named Dan Foley, who is accompanied by three lawn chairs with fire billowing from their bases. At the prompt from a voice behind the camera, Foley begins juggling the chairs like it’s pretty much no big deal.
The fire roars louder as Foley throws each chair into the air, catching and tossing like he’s got nothing to worry about. He can’t even be bothered that he’s throwing these chairs near a car and that there are dead leaves all around him.
Surprisingly all the death-defying bits go well, even though Foley has one bobble at the end where he catches the last chair in his arms, and for a split-second it looks like he’s going to wrap his hand (or whole body) around a fiery chair leg.
If his other videos are any indication, Foley is a practiced and skilled juggler, not just some doof doing dumb things only to impress his friends. Despite that fact, it is important to once again be explicit — please do not try this at home. Instead, simply enjoy this video repeatedly and share it with your family and friends.
