FARR WEST, Weber County — Authorities on Tuesday identified a man who died Monday after he crashed on I-15 in Weber County.

Cayden Bright, 23, of Riverdale, died about 10 p.m. on northbound I-15 near the state Route 134 exit, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.

He was driving a 2000 Honda Odyssey and went off the left side of the road, authorities said. The car hit a concrete barrier and then rolled back into a traffic lane, where a semitruck crashed into it.

Bright was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the car. He suffered fatal injuries.

Bright was the only person in the car.

Further details about the cause of the crash were not released Tuesday.
