OGDEN — Police found the body of missing man Robert Morfin Tuesday in a wooded area in South Ogden.

Morfin, 62, was first reported missing Saturday, police said. Foul play was not suspected in his death, police said.

Further details, such as Morfin’s cause and time of death, weren’t immediately available.

Morfin was last seen when he left his home near 28th Street and Madison Avenue Saturday morning, Morfin’s son, Adam, said Monday.

Adam said his father left on foot without notice and without his wallet or cellphone. He also left without his diabetes medication, Adam Morfin added.

“We’re concerned because he is diabetic, he doesn’t have his medication and he wasn’t in his normal state of mind,” he said.
