EAGLE MOUNTAIN — One woman was transported to a hospital via medical helicopter Thursday in “extremely critical condition” after a crash with a semitruck, officials said.

The crash occurred about 2:13 p.m. on Cory B. Wride Memorial Highway at Sunset Drive, according to Sgt. Spencer Cannon with Utah County Sheriff’s Office.

The semitruck's driver wasn’t injured in the crash.

Further details about the incident, such as how the crash occurred, weren’t immediately available.

The crash was cleared by 4 p.m. Thursday, according to officials.
