THESSALONIKI, Greece (AP) — Police in northern Greece have arrested a man suspected of fatally shooting two neighbors following an argument over where they parked a heavy vehicle.
Police said Friday the shootings took place outside the town of Chryssoupolis near Kavala, some 180 kilometers (110 miles) east of Thessaloniki.
The 42-year old suspect and his 42-year-old neighbor had allegedly been on bad terms for a long time over where the victim should park his large truck.
Police said the neighbors had a heated argument late Thursday after the vehicle was parked near the suspect's house, during which the suspect allegedly shot the 42-year-old truck driver and his 67-year-old mother dead with a shotgun.
