THE BIRTHDAY PARTY — There’s nothing better than a birthday party, am I right? Family and friends come together to celebrate a very special person on a very special day.
Doesn’t the old song say, “It’s my party and I’ll cry if I want to”? It seems like if it’s your birthday, you get a free pass to do almost anything you want — even cry.
For one little guy, his birthday was the right moment to do whatever he wanted to do, which on this day meant ruining his own birthday cake.
In this video, we see a boy named Juanito smiling and ready to blow out his birthday (cup)cake as he’s turning 5. His loving family is ready to sing “Happy Birthday” and take photos of him blowing out the candle. Juanito can’t wait until the fam gets the phone ready, so he blows out the candle quickly.
It’s Juanito’s birthday, so he can do whatever he wants, right?
He then decides to take a bite out of one of the cupcakes. His relatives tell him to wait until they sing “Happy Birthday.”
Again, this is Juanito’s birthday and he’ll do what he wants to do — and what he wants to do now is turn this birthday party upside down. Juanito sits back down, and as soon as his family starts singing he flips over his birthday cupcake.
The family gasps in complete shock. A few chuckles can be heard, then one relative asks Juanito, “Why did you do that?”
Why did he do that? Only Juanito knows. His family may never know the answer, but that’s something they have to just accept.
Why?
Because it was Juantio’s birthday and he’ll do what he wants to do.
