MOAB, Utah (AP) — Authorities say a man has died while skydiving in eastern Utah.
KSL-TV reports the accident happened Sunday afternoon at the Canyonlands Airport in Moab.
The Grand County Sheriff's Office said in a statement that 23-year-old Spencer Connolley, of Moab, sustained a "fast and hard landing."
He was in a landing zone designated for skydivers at the time.
Sheriff's officials are investigating the incident.
No cause has been determined.
