OGDEN — The lineup of music acts slated for the Ogden Twilight concert series dawned upon the internet Thursday night, and includes 12 artists announced over 10 concert dates, with more announcements to come.
Veteran psych-rock weirdos The Flaming Lips will return to the concert series for the July 18 show, which will also feature California rock band The Growlers, Ogden Twilight said in a Facebook post.
The Flaming Lips also played Ogden Twilight in 2018.
Indie pop duo Matt and Kim, one of the most frequently requested acts for Ogden Twilight in the past, also will play the concert series on August 2, according to the group.
The summer concert series runs from June 6 to September 27 at the Ogden Amphitheater.
Two dates, September 5 and 17, have yet to be announced. Another headliner and special guest will be announced on Tuesday, Ogden Twilight said in the Facebook post.
Several special guests and local spotlight artists have yet to be announced.
Season tickets to the concert series are available now at www.24tix.com/ot. Tickets to individual shows go on sale March 8 at 10 a.m. Tickets to the shows also include passes for Utah Transit Authority FrontRunner, Trax and bus services.
