SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Authorities say two suspects in a fatal robbery attempt at a Layton mobile home park are in custody.
Layton police say 22-year-old Angel Christopher Abreu and an unidentified 16-year-old boy were arrested in the case.
Abreu was booked into the Davis County jail on Saturday and is being held without bail.
It's unclear if he has lawyer yet.
Police say both suspects are being held on suspicion of aggravated murder, aggravated burglary and aggravated kidnapping.
They say the two suspects are accused of entering a mobile home in an attempted robbery and allegedly firing numerous rounds at 26-year-old Anthony Child.
He later died at a hospital in Preston.
Police reported finding a mushroom-growing operation in Child's home with several buckets filled with marijuana and equipment to extract THC from cannabis.
