BOUNTIFUL, Utah (AP) — Bountiful police say a 22-year-old man has been arrested in the killing of a 50-year-old man found dead in his home in the Salt Lake City suburb.

Taniela Salakielu was arrested booked into jail Wednesday on suspicion of murder and vehicle theft in the death of Rand Hatch, whose body was found Aug. 19 by a family member who went to check on Hatch.

According to police, Hatch's vehicle was missing from his home and an investigation and autopsy indicated that his death was caused by trauma.

Court records don't list Salakielu has a defense attorney who could comment on the allegations.
