STAMFORD, Conn. (AP) — A man who says he was upset with his rooming house neighbor for talking about him has been arrested for attacking the man with a hammer.
The Stamford Advocate reports 36-year-old Rocael Perez-Godoy allegedly attacked a 47-year-old man in the house's common kitchen.
Police say that when they arrived Tuesday night there was a man washing blood off his face. The man says Perez-Godoy randomly walked into the kitchen and began hitting him with the hammer, striking him in the face and head.
The victim was treated for facial fractures.
